AdaptiveVets Solutions (AVS) has been awarded a contract by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide full lifecycle operations and maintenance (O&M) for the Compliance Assessment and Tracking System (CATS). CATS is a secure, cloud-hosted application used by the VA’s Office of Research Oversight (ORO) to track and manage compliance incidents related to VA-sponsored research activities. This contract supports the VA’s mission to uphold the ethical conduct and regulatory integrity of research involving Veterans and volunteer participants.

Under this contract, AVS ensures system reliability, security, and agility by delivering software sustainment, troubleshooting, enhancement implementation, and robust testing. The team is also responsible for maintaining the system’s Authority to Operate (ATO), remediating accessibility gaps to ensure 508 compliance, and executing secure, standards-based development practices. All development and support activities are coordinated across VA’s production, staging, and development environments with continuous stakeholder engagement and change control oversight.
